Great park with some wonderful trails and you can get some great views from the castle. Spent about 3 hours here on a Sunday. It was quite busy. Some of the trails were really icy still due to the recent weather. Lots of hills and that so if you have some mobility issues this may not be ideal for you. Didn't get a drink from the small cafe on site due to length of the queue.
Lovely park, cafe was nice and good value for money. Castle is very strangely located in the middle of a forest. Great day out.
An excellent way to spend the day with the family and family dog if you have one. There is a skate park, football field, a playground to accommodate all ages and a visitor centre selling ice cream and coffee amongst other things. But the best thing is the walk through woods filled with history. There are different paths and places of interest. It's great to explore the castle.
Lovely area. Walked through to castle and went up to the top. Nice walk for all ages and abilities. Lots of dog walkers. Great play area for kids of all ages. There was also a cafe although we didnt use it. Place to park up. On the whole highly recommendable place.
Brilliant country park with plenty of parking. There is a kids play area and a skate park, both of which were in great condition and appealing to children of all ages. The woods made a great walk we even food some hidden gems Wepre Rocks were hidden in various places.
